My Whispering Teachers: Stories to make you think and smile and think again

Stories are how we remember Truth for, while “truths” of scientists change regularly, the Truths of who we are and how we serve each other never change. Goodness and mercy are ever the same as are the battles of good and evil, the anguish and triumph of humans and simple fallibility and strength we have.Stories are whispered to us in the strangest, most unexpected times and places. If we shake off the latest drama, for a moment, and listen ... well, it might just be the answer to that drama. My favourite shaking-off place is in a cafe, busy or not, and most of my 500+ stories arise when I stop, sip, nibble and allow my pen to speak.I usually have the first sentence swirling around in my brain and, when that’s on paper, the rest turns up. Usually, I have no idea of the middle or end till I’m writing it.So, I invite you into my unexpected world of humour, insight and dedramaing words. Enjoy!
